If you have an image that is say 64*32 it will loop the image over the entire screen - like a scrolled parallax. Unfortunately, the linked script doesnt accomodate for alternative sized images. Even if I can only have one of my levels looking as cool as this one will - I will be satisfied. I have downloaded them and will begin placement and tests shortly, from the look of them though they will be perfect. You'll get better results if you go for "seamless patterns" or "seamless backgrounds". Doesn't do Scene_Map but if your able to code it in yourself it wouldn't be hard to do. HERE is a script that allows multiple backgrounds to be added (like parallaxes) into any scene. Unfortunately, it is too good for me to use (I'm looking for more of an RTP vibe - should have probably stated that, sorry :/)Īlso, yes, it is possible to have multiple parallaxes in vx ace, you need a script though. Vx ace should be able to use that image without any issues.
That image is very very nice, would fit in VERY well with PVGames fantasy resources ^_^
